LEARNING OBJECTIVES 

NEUROLOGY I:

1)    What to think about for the patient who will not hold an adjustment despite all proper assessment and treatment from an upper cervical standpoint?
2)    What to think about for the patient that is holding but is still symptomatic?
3)    From an embroyological and neurological perspective why does upper cervical care work?
4)    Gain a complete understanding of the neuroanatomy, function, and connections to the upper cervical spine and rest of the body.
5)    Understand important vascular structures of the brainstem and brain as well as the importance of always thinking about the autonomic nervous system.
6)    Understanding neuromuscular physiology and the central control systems and consequences to changing NM physiology.
7)    Recognition of real world clinical connections between neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and the patient.
